"LCI AT ENFIELD ITALIAN FESTIVAL WITH THE CAKE BOSS!"

For the weekend of Aug. 5 through 7, Lincoln Culinary Institute – Suffield was part of “la famiglia” at the Mount Carmel Society’s 86th annual feast in Enfield, CT. The festival opened Friday night at 5pm with food and carnival rides for children and entertainment began around 7:30pm the Deana Martin Variety Show, modeled after her famous father’s program.

On Saturday, Aug. 6th, Mauro "Chef Mario" Castano, his wife, Maddalena and their son, Buddy from the reality TV show, "Cake Boss" were available for posing for photos and signing autographs in the special Cake Boss tent, which was shared with Lincoln Culinary Institute – Suffield. All advertising of the Cake Boss appearance - posters, newspapers, radio and TV spots were sponsored by the Lincoln Culinary Institute - Suffield.

On Sunday, Aug. 7th, the "Cake Boss" stars displayed a special, custom multi-tiered Deana Martin birthday cake, which was then portioned out and served to the appreciative crowd by LCI – Suffield International Baking and Pastry students.
