Volkswagen of America, Inc. has created the Volkswagen Academy Technician Recruitment Program (VATRP), to meet this need. The Academy provides hands-on training with late-model vehicles that include Passats, GTIs, Jettas, Golfs, and, of course, the ever popular Beetle.
Students learn model-specific skills and knowledge taught by Volkswagen professionals using the latest technology and tools. Academy graduates can also qualify to earn Volkswagen Technician Certifications, an impressive career advantage at any of the 600+ U.S. Volkswagen dealerships throughout the nation.
Volvo Cars of North America has created the Service Automotive Factory Education (SAFE) program, to provide the most current training available in Volvo systems and technology. Through Volvo’s focused, hands-on curriculum, students will gain comprehensive knowledge, skills and firsthand familiarity with the outstanding safety and engineering systems that distinguish the Volvo brand from all others.
Graduates will be equipped with everything they need to succeed as a qualified Volvo Service Technician, and, after two years experience at a Volvo Dealership and a yearly assessment, may also qualify for an ASE Master Certification.

Due to the specialized nature of these programs, students first need to apply, meet certain qualifications and obtain official acceptance into the designated curriculums. Acceptance will be based on a personal interview, established GPA guidelines, attendance records, Motor Vehicle Records, drug testing, relocation and individual entrance-exam requirements. Upon acceptance, participating dealerships may sponsor your tuition in accordance with pre-established and agreed-upon terms of employment. Acceptance into these programs is limited and is not governed by Lincoln Educational Services or any of the school locations. Relocation may be required for these specialized training programs.
