From its beginnings as Lincoln Technical Institute in 1946 to its current status as one of the nation’s leading providers of career education and training, Lincoln Educational Services Corporation ("Lincoln") is committed to providing students with the quality, hands-on skills and training they need to succeed in an ever-changing employment landscape.
In 2006, in celebration of Lincoln's 60th birthday, our Cittone Institute schools in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as our Massachusetts and Rhode Island Career Education Institute (CEI) schools were re-branded as Lincoln Technical Institute, while our West Palm Beach campus (formerly New England Institute of Technology) and our Marietta GA, Norcross GA, and Henderson NV campuses (formerly Career Education Institute-CEI) were established as the first Lincoln College of Technology campuses.
In 2007, Lincoln announced the addition of Lincoln Tech's Indianapolis IN campus, Lincoln Tech's Melrose Park IL campus and Denver Automotive and Diesel College (DADC) to the Lincoln College of Technology brand. All Lincoln College of Technology campuses are degree-granting colleges, offering Diplomas and Associate Degrees in a variety of program categories including Health Sciences, Business and Information Technology, Automotive, Skilled Trades, Spa Management and Culinary Arts.
The company believes these changes will mean an even brighter future for its graduates and an improved ability to market its schools nationally. "This re-branding initiative supports our goal of becoming a nationally recognized leader in the post-secondary education industry," said David Carney, Chairman and C.E.O. of Lincoln Educational Services. "We have grown considerably during the past few years and our schools were identified by multiple brands. The consolidation to the Lincoln brand name has gone smoothly, and we are now able to promote a stronger image to students to further grow the value of our brand equity. Moreover, fewer brands will simplify our ability to market more efficiently and leverage our marketing dollars."
Lincoln Educational Services is the parent company of Lincoln Technical Institute, Lincoln College of Technology, Lincoln College Online, Florida Culinary Institute, The Center For Culinary Arts, Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC), Southwestern College, and Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts & Sciences. With a broad geographic reach of 34 campuses in 17 states, Lincoln is poised to achieve its goal of becoming one of the largest providers of post-secondary education in the U.S.
