Chef August Carreiro, Certified Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Educator, has been a Chef Instructor at Lincoln Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach since 1994. Courses taught include Introduction to Culinary Arts, Advanced Culinary Principals and Global Cuisine.

Chef Carreiro has been a member of the American Culinary Federation for 20 years and is Junior ACF Student Hot Food Team Coach. Past experience includes working as Executive Chef for large resorts and hotels, such as PGA National Resort (Florida), Radisson Mark Plaza Hotel (Virginia), and Gramercy Hotel (Washington, D.C.)

Chef Carreiro keeps a pulse on the food service industry through his involvement in a variety of community services, and he consults with many top chefs in the area
